The telephone preference services are free register services through which individuals and organisations can chose to opt out of receiving unsolicited sales and marketing calls and faxes.
This factsheet covers the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), the Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS) and the Fax Preference Service (FPS). The registers are operated by a subsidiary of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) on behalf of communications regulator Ofcom.
This factsheet explains what the services provide, how they work, and what organisations must do to comply with their rules.
